Summer updos are sleek, elegant and easy to achieve. Choose from three stunning styles:
Summer Sleek, Beach Babe or Calypso Chic. The goal of a terrifically stylish summer updo
is to make it look effortless, contemporary and young. It should take under seven minutes
to accomplish.
SUMMER SLEEK
Best for: Straight, midlength hair
Prep Time: 5 minutes

How to: Start by applying Rusk Str8 Anti-Frizz Lotion to help control and  smooth flyaways. Part the hair at the side and apply Rusk Jel FX throughout the
hair. Then brush the hair back toward the nape opf the neck. Next, get a covered band and
make a low ponytail. Pin a hairnet nixt to the rubber band with a hairpin and wrap the
hair net around the entire ponytail. Twist and pin any loose pieces. As a final touch, you
can anchor a beautiful pin into the bun. Finish with Rusk Worx Aerosol, light hold formula
for maximum luster, smoothness and control.
BEACH BABE
Best for: Straight curly, midlength hair

How to: Blow dry your hair using a texturizing lotion like Hair Play Texture Blast from

Best for: Braided or naturally curly shoulder length hair

How to: Begin by applying Rusk Str8 Anti-Frizz Lotion to help control and  smooth flyaways
just along your hair line. Smooth your hair out as you go along to keep flyaways under
control. Next, pull your hair up into a high ponytail. Wrap the base of the ponytail
tightly with a covered band. To achieve another version of this look (not pictured), you
can bend the ponytail in half. Use another covered band to hold the hair in place. Wrap a
narrow scarf aroungthe ponytail and tuck in the ends underneath the ponytail to keep it
snug.
